Medical Care

In 2023 we provided free medical and eye care for about 2300 people of all ages. Common diseases encountered hypertension, arthritis, malaria, diabetes, and many parasitic infections. Free medication was provided to all patients who attended clinic for the conditions they had . Routine eye screening was also provided for the community and children were fitted with glasses. Treatment for eye infections, dry eyes and glaucoma was also provided.

Medication & Equipment

Free medication was provided to all patients who attended clinic for the conditions they had. Medical supplies such as glucometers, blood pressure machines, test kits for malaria and typhoid and N95 masks wound care supplies etc are provided.

Education

Daily educational series on prevention of hypertension, diabetes, malaria as well as medication compliance was provided at the start of each clinic day.

We also lectured at a local high school on sexually transmitted infections and their prevention and treatment as well as prevention of teen pregnancy.

  • Women and Children Center in Greater Area

    Fall 2024

    We will be providing medical care, clothing and school supplies for families at NGO that caters to marginalized population in Ghana who often have inadequate housing, schooling, and health care.

  • Akim Oda Hospital Women’s Center

    Fall 2024

    Akim Oda is a small town in the Eastern region of Ghana with limited health access. Their hospital is in dire need of repair and we have chosen to assist with repair of maternity ward.

    The ward is lacking in basic supplies, bed partitions, gowns for mothers in labor. Provide supplies and paint center as well as health screening.
